The Platform
ShiftSync isn't a generic AI chat tool repurposed for automotive. It's a structured diagnostic workflow built specifically for how service departments actually operate, from customer concern through advisor handoff.
The automotive data problem (scattered TSBs, OEM-locked procedures, fragmented repair information) is real, and we're working on it. Today, ShiftSync's strength is in structure, reasoning, and communication. Direct data integration is next on the roadmap.
Every diagnostic session starts with the customer complaint and vehicle context. The entire conversation stays organized around solving that specific concern.
StructureThe AI maintains awareness of the vehicle, the concern, and your findings throughout the session, providing more relevant guidance than a general-purpose chat tool.
IntelligenceOne tap generates a complete Three-C summary from the diagnostic session. The advisor gets clear, professional language they can share with the customer immediately.
CommunicationCapture observations and findings hands-free via voice. During a road test, under the hood, wherever you can't type. Notes feed directly into the diagnostic session.
Hands-FreeFault codes mentioned in conversation are automatically detected, tagged, and tracked throughout the session. Keeps the diagnostic focused and searchable.
AutomationEvery diagnostic session is saved and searchable. Find past sessions by vehicle, DTC code, or concern. Over time, your shop builds its own searchable diagnostic history.
OrganizationA note on where we are: ShiftSync does not currently pull live OEM procedures, TSB feeds, or wiring diagrams into sessions. That level of data integration is actively being built. What ShiftSync delivers today is a structured, context-aware diagnostic workflow that is meaningfully better than using generic AI tools or working without any structure at all.
